How to think and become a genius!

I will take this article as an opportunity to reply to a post left by user "lightthecandle" at a a blog called Pavlina...

"how does one go about thinking and acting like a genius? my problem is that instead of working on my homework or doing productive things my mind is CONSTANTLY thinking about what others are thinking about me or my self esteem is too low to do anything to change my state.
